QPE contributes to the development of the whole person.
While physical development remains important, QPE also supports cognitive, emotional, social and moral development. Learners develop problem-solving skills, resilience, teamwork, empathy, leadership, communication and ethical decision-making through participation in meaningful movement experiences (Bailey et al., 2009).
This holistic perspective aligns closely with contemporary educational aims and recognises that physical education contributes far beyond physical fitness alone.
